Workshop 1- Making a difference

This is our most popular workshop session. It covers the basic elements of client care, understanding what our client's value, and understanding the client - pet bond and how this affects our relationship with clients. The theme is how we make a difference to the life of the animal, its owner, ourselves and our practice.

Workshop 2 - Taking the problem out of problem clients

Sometimes we just wonder "what have we done to deserve them?" This session looks at how to keep our heads when we meet them, show the client that we understand their problem, identify solutions, and how we learn from our mistakes. It also includes how to handle the "special" cases, such as asking for money, dealing with complaints, and handling aggressive clients.

Workshop 3 - Helping clients to act in the best interest of their pet

Clients come to us for advice, but we are often unsure as to how far we should go when helping clients for fear of being seen as "pushy". This workshop will help delegates to understand what clients want from them, and how they can help the client's animal without upsetting the client.
